Cherry Drawing Steps :

Cherries are small, round, deep red stone fruit.Depending on the variety, , their size and flavour it usually fall into two categories: sweet and sour. Sweet cherries are usually eaten as they come, while sour cherries are used more in cooking.

Cherries are grown in all areas of the world where winter temperatures are not too severe and where summer temperatures are moderate. They require winter cold in order to blossom in spring. The trees bloom quite early in the spring, just after peaches and earlier than apples.

The trees are native to the Northern Hemisphere, including North America, Europe, and Asia. Especially in Asian countries such as Korea and Japan, cherry trees, called sakura also.People travel long distance to see this cherry blossoming trees and parks in march and april .

Cherries are a good source of fibre, vitamins and minerals, including potassium, calcium, vitamin A and folic acid.

Cherries are the healthiest fruit which protects against diabetes.

Cherries promot healthy sleep.

Cherries redice the post excercise pain.

Cherries curb cholesterol.

Regular consumption of cherries also reduce the risk of gout attack.

How do you draw a cherry?

This step by step tutorial shows how to draw cherries for beginners. It also provides simple but detailed illustrations for each step.

1.First start with drawing or writing a sidewise number eight(8)shape (or two circles).Next turn the circle into heart-like shapes by making the bottom of the circle come to a point and the top to come to a point as in a number ‘3’.

2.Draw a narrowly spaced, curved, parallel lines. This will form the stem of a cherry.

3.Draw a second set of curved parallel lines extending from the first. This forms the stem of the second cherry.

Draw a cherry leaf. Use two long, curved lines extending from the top of the stem. Allow the lines to connect at a connecting point of two stems.then follow the same on the opposite side as well to make the another leaf.

Paint or color the cherry shape with red color and leaf with green color .you can color the stem brown as well if you wish to.then outline the shape with the black sketch pen or black marker.
